Whether on the water or land: The Famata Lodge team looks forward to showing you the most beautiful places around the nature reserve Tsinjoriake. You will sail with the trimaran towards the sun, wander through palm groves to a bathing spring or visit the surrounding villages and vegetation..

Adventures on the water: sailing, kanu, snorkeling, swimming

On the water

With the typical Vezo pirogue, the trimaran sailing boat or canoe: There are no limits to trips on sea or the river Onilahy. Skipper Zidane or Peter will join you on the excursions, offering a wealth of experience and knowledge.

Activiteis on land around Tulear and Tsinjoriake

On land

There is much to discover in the region: The grottos of Binabe, the peninsula of Sarodrano, the typical flora and fauna, or the bathing springs near St. Augustin. You will reach your destinations safely on foot or by 4x4.

Picnic

We love arranging picnic hampers according to your taste for your field trips. Sumptuously filled sandwiches, rich pasta salad, fresh fruit and cool beverages will keep you going on your adventurous journeys.

  • Field trips can only take place with appropriate weather and water and/or road conditions.
  • The Lodge does not assume any form of liability during the trips.
  • On sea, life jackets are compulsory - for children and adults.
  • With certain trips, a minimum number of participants is required. On the trimaran, the capacity is limited to six participants.
  • The Lodge will provide a picnic on request.
